The David Outlaw Band has been lighting up venues across Northern California for the past three years—from the Bay Area to the Sierra Foothills—with a high-energy fusion of American Roots, Bluegrass, Folk, Southern Rock, and Jam Band grooves. The band is led by Memphis-born singer-songwriter David Outlaw, whose original music sits at the heart of the group’s sound: soulful and meant to make folks dance.

With a lineup of seasoned players—David Outlaw (guitar, harmonica, vocals), Matt Allard (mandolin, Hammond organ, piano), Jonny Mojo (lead, slide, and steel guitar), Jono Clay (bass, vocals), and Andrew Tuckman (drums, percussion)—the band draws on decades of experience playing festivals and shows throughout the West Coast. Their live performances are a potent mix of tight musicianship, improvisational jams, and a deep love for the roots traditions they channel.

Currently, the David Outlaw Band is at work on their debut album, with initial tracks recorded at the legendary Record Plant in Sausalito. Set for release this summer, the album will be supported by a regional tour showcasing the band’s signature sound: swampy, soulful, and energetic.
