David Outlaw was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and after spending years playing and performing in Memphis and New Orleans, he settled in Northern California. After years of playing with some of the legends of the South and developing his own style, Dave began writing his own music. Dave brings out the heart of American music in his soulful original compositions.

The David Outlaw Band formed for a love of performing live music, featuring David Outlaw on guitar, harmonica and vocals, Matt Allard on the mandolin and Hammond organ, with some of the best in Marin local musicians backing them.

Todd Bugbee (Dead Roses, So Many Roads, Meter Made) adds his powerful lead guitar with a style akin to Jerry Garcia, Warren Haynes, and other legends.
